    TURRACHER HÖHE

    The varied winter sports paradise

    Skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking – Turracher Höhe  is one big winter wonderland. Action lovers can show off their skills at Austria’s biggest funpark, while fans of starry skies enjoy night skiing every Wednesday from 20:00 to 21:30 at Übungswiesen lift.

    Tip: The piste butler on the Turracher Höhe is an exclusive service on the piste - with little treats, warm drinks and tips for the perfect day's skiing.

    KREISCHBERG

    Varied slopes at 2,050 metres above sea level

    Wide slopes for all skill levels make Kreischberg  ski resort one of the region’s most popular choices. More accomplished skiers can prove their worth at the resort’s permanent racetrack.

    Tip: On Friday and Saturday, 10 and 11 January 2025, the World Cup mountain will welcome the world's best snowboard and freestyle ski athletes. The programme includes big air competitions for freeskiing and snowboarding, with thrilling finals held in the evening under floodlights.

    Unique skiing experiences with a high alpine touch

    Lachtal ski resort  boasts 35 kilometres of slopes and varied offers for winter sports athletes of all ages.

    MUR-MÜRZ TOP SKI PASS

    One ski pass, twelve ski resorts – the Mur-Mürz Top Ski Pass is available as a multi-day or season ticket, granting you access to numerous cable cars and kilometres of slopes.

    The ski pass includes the following ski resorts: Turracher Höhe, Kreischberg, Grebenzen, Lachtal, Gaal, Obdach, Kleinlobming, Salzstiegl, Präbichl, Brunnalm-Hohe Veitsch, Turnau-Schwabenbergarena and Stuhleck.

    Ski schools and ski rental on site

    Stunning ski runs as far as the eye can see: The Murau region boasts skiing fun galore. If you’re a first-timer, the local ski schools offer skiing lessons for children and adults as well as snowboard, freestyle and private lessons. Many of the ski schools even carry the quality seal of Styrian ski schools.

    If you don’t own a set of winter sports equipment or would like to test a new product, simply rent a pair of skis or a snowboard from the local rental shops.
